Los Premios Óscar, oficialmente conocidos como el Premio de la Academia al Mérito, son el galardón más prestigioso en la industria del cine. Se otorgan anualmente por la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas para reconocer la excelencia en la actuación, dirección, producción y otros aspectos del cine.
La primera ceremonia tuvo lugar el 16 de mayo de 1929, y desde entonces, los Óscar han sido considerados el máximo honor en el mundo del cine, transmitidos en vivo a más de cien países.
Como cada año, se dio a conocer la lista de los nominados a la edición 98 de los Premios Oscar 2026.
En esta ocasión Danielle Brooks y Lewis Pullman, quienes fueron los encargados de dar a conocer las actrices, actores, cortometrajes, documentales y filmes que competirán por la estatuilla el próximo 15 de marzo en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles, California
